I recently joined this forum and thought I should introduce myself. I have been toying with keeping fish and to a lesser extent koi, in East London for about 10 years now. I cant decide to get really serious or not..I have an 8' by 5' (3-4' deep) pond with about 4 koi, a couple of orfes, some gold fish and a big mirror who lives in the bottom. Its not heated or drained but I have a decent filter set up, air stones, UV etc.
I will be asking questions over the next few weeks while I start to make my plans for the spring.
