So very difficult to make any call from the photos, one thing’s for sure this is a Mirror carp not a Koi and they come in all shapes and sizes and are a load hardier than Koi.
There’s a common carp in a pond at one of the local dealers that is S shaped but has a decent quality of life.
I’m not seeing a Tumour here except possibly on the far side of Pic 3 ie the fishes left flank just behind the pec ? Is there a small bulge there? Without something from directly overhead then cannot make a call.
What’s for sure is that she will get fat on a diet of high protein food and there are risks of problems because if there is food she will eat it! I had one a few years ago that developed a load of fat around the liver, messy business doing an autopsy but the fat deposits were nearly 4KG on a fish weighing 7 Kilo.
But then again it could be eggs and over the winter these may absorb.
Problem you have is that the Sturgeon and the Mirror have different demands, the Sturgeon will need feeding through the winter and this Lady could maybe do with a bit of a diet.
Don’t think that sweet corn will do this Lady any harm, what she doesn't want is high protein food.
Sorry I can’t offer more but you need to see how this pans out.
PS - Test kits - Ammonia, Nitrite, pH are the one that matter but my feel is that this is not a water issue.
Just wanted to say my fish is still alive and well despite having the bulge in her side for well over a month now! Am surprised and very happy. One question: how can you tell its a she?
