Checked the water last night and here are the results :-
NH3 MH4 0
NO2 Less than 0.1
NO3 Less than 0.1
KH 140
GH 100
PH 7.5
How does that look to you ?
Yes there was some red blotches on the flanks of the one we lost. The scales were not damaged they were just red blotches. I have noticed that two of the others have one small red blotch each. Not sure what flashing is so I can not comment on that but yes they were jumping out of the water which seems to have stopped now. Sulking not eating, one or two of them fit into this catagory for sure but I had put all of this down to the spawnng they have recently been doing. What does all this mean ? |

Reputation Level: | u have got ur water ok. test it 2 times a week, i do. ammonia is 0 so feed a bit. nitrite is 0.1 thats ok dont let it go above 1 clean filter once a week. kh is140 so u must have hard water? if they still jump, or go off food, u need to do a scrape. so the next thing u need to buy is a microscope so u can do it urself. u might have a bacterial prob, but i cannot say, u should not treat blind. but chloramine t for this. u need to scrape to see wot is wrong?????? hope this helps. |
