Reputation Level: | Graham mate... this was the ex koikeepers G & S - you were Koikeepers. I am certain no one meant any disrespect... and I could have included you in my thanks for this G & S - if for no other reason than without koikeepers there wouldn't have been one. Irrespective you loaned equipment/media an inclusion would in retrospect have been right, so am sorry for that.
Koikeepers and you weren't dismissed... can see many messages of thank you for what you did with the forum and all that it has done... and I suppose like others I included introducing the G & S which had many many thank you posts for last year and great doing it again in our old home. If its of any consolation I have only heard positive things and good words about you before and after koikeepers mate. Some plaudits you will never know about because they happened one on one.
I know probably better than most how life can turn on a sixpence sometimes, and things and priorities change dramatically. I have to say without Pondy I guess I would have been involved in the G & S via email at best, he recommended a new home and we have been welcomed here with open arms and great support so that is maybe why Pondy became the focus. He made it happen, and it went seamlessly - JP cared for our fish and DaveJ I know supported and they all got well deserved thanks... You have the thanks for originating as well as the practical support not just in equipment but the forum home you gave. I hope you as the originator are pleased that HOPEFULLY [nudge nudge Pondy] this will be an annual event keeping its style and method as you invented. I don't think most of us really think anout all that goes on for such an event - we pay some money turn up collect the fish and go home... really hope none of the people who made this happen think they aren't appreciated, you most definitely are!
So there is no confusion am saying what a lot of people have said to me and I have said and posted myself... Thank you for Koikeepers Graham - and all that went with that, the G & S was a part of that but there was much more - the people I met there and are now here are a big part for me. I feel comfortable here at Extreme and am very glad to be here, but that doesn't meant koikeepers isn't missed. |
