Hello All, sorry for the delay as ive been away..
ok for any of you that were originaly here before Koikeepers forum sadly closed its doors, some of us had already organised a show and grow competetion. lucky for us the guys here at Extreme koi forum have welcomed us Ex koikeepers and enabled us to continue with the competiton in the way we would have run it. so at this point id just like to say Thankyou to everyone at Extreme and also thankyou to Lakeside Lad/Addict/Graham for what he did at koikeepers.
for those that arent aware 30 shiro utsuri koi were precured from imho the best shiro breeder in the world "Omosako" these were hand picked by Mike Snadden from YUME KOI when he went out earlier in the year.
these koi arrived in the uk on Tuesday 17th of may 2011.
currently these koi are situated in a members quarentine tank somewhere in Essex

they are to be heat ramped and QT'd to the same high standard as the PKDA would suggest. and are currently in process of there first heat ramping.
The competition will be ran in the same way that we ran last years competiton where as all those involved will meet up and a predetermind time (at least four weeks after QT) and draw a number out of the hat. this number pre determines in which order you go to collect/choose a plain envelope. inside the envelope is the photo of the koi you have one.
in my eyes it cant get fairer than that. in the event that you cant attend the day a envelope will be drawn on your behalf.
Extreme koi forum (Lazerus) has offered to donate a trophy for the largest koi at the end of the year from collection.
however i will be requireing that participates send in a photo roughly every three months so we can all keep up to date.
at this point i find it prudent to let the forum members know that all the shiro's are sold already.
so i guess now is the ideal time to say let the best koi win and here are the original photo's we were sent when the koi were in Japan.
