As promised a couple of pictures of our latest pond. The first was just after the big fill (36hrs to fill) and just before we noticed all the leaks . The second 3 months later after it had been re-fibreglassed!! The koi have just been put in, hence the suicide net and bricks. Next the filter house and landscaping...
Regards Mark and Claire

Hawk101,
It was the contractor who glassed it in the first place, we would not pay him until it was proved water tight, I best not mention the name but they are from the north oxon area. They have built and fibreglassed "lots of ponds" but within a day of filling water was seeping through the brickwork. when we drained the pond Claire and myself marked over 50 leaks!!! then gave up marking.
Markf1,
Its 26500ltrs (5800gals) ish including filters. From the pond via a spindrifter bottom drain, to a vortex then to a nexus 310 (your favorite ) and returned via an aquamax 16000 through a tmc110 uv to a mid level return. The skimmer is gravity fed to an easy pod and returned to a higher level via an aquamax 5500. The system has two air pumps one 95 feeding the 310 and a 70 feeding the spindrifter and used to clean the easy. The filters are wrapped in a space blankets, i've got the pipes to do this weekend.
