the pond is 1500 run with a multibay which has black brushes in the first chambers, jap matting in the next and moving k1 in the last it has a aquamax 5500 and a 30wt tmc uv. it also has a compact sieve best bit of equipment i wouldnt be without it.
my qt is about 600 gallons run on a aquamax 3500 and a pb85 beadfilter which that goes into a biotec 5 with a bioron 15 on the side for uv the water is spotless with the pb85 is has all my little babies in i will try to post some pictures of my koi
That all looks nice and tidy, some relief when it is all completed and you can relax a bit.
Only question; do you have a net or cover for the QT? Believe me it's the saddest thing that can happen to a fish keeper to find a jumper on the floor.
I agree with davej on this one, i once has a £250 fish in a QT with no net on only to come out the next morning after only being in the QT one day to find it dead on the floor. i would never use a QT with out a net on it now.
