Default pondy's pond

ok as you can see in the pictures my pond is not very ornate but it does its job
plus when i took the pictures this morning everything is in a state and i have a temp vat in front of my pond which is holding a couple of koi in it destined for the crouch valley auction next month.

right my pond. its 3000 gallons (6 foot deep all over). fed by a home made bakki shower full of BHM which is fed by 2 x 16000 aquamax pumps, also the pond has a large three bay filter consiting of brushes, static k1, fluidised k1 and returning to the pond by way of a weir (which you can see in my signiture) which has roughly 10000lph running through it. The pond is also fed by a pressurised canister filter which has a 5500lph aquamax pumping through filter floss then returning via air diffusser into pond. lastly the skimmer connects via another 10000lph aquamax to my sieve which returns straight back to my pond. so a whole plethera of filteration making the pond look like a water treatment centre. 30w uv and 3kw heater also on pond.

i have an air curtain underneath where the water from the bakki drops. and a skimmer that works really well. it is essential that you have good circulation in your pond.

work out how many thousands of litrs im turning over an hour!!

i have a 15,000 pump running the skimmer and 10,000 on the filter and 20,000 going over the bakki shower. since i have been running the bakki for 4 weeks my pond surface is crap now. bubbles and throff is a nightmare.
