my pond 8ft x6ft and 4ft deep

i have never had any problems in the pond its been like that for 8 years only thing that was was a problem was the gold fish breeding all the time so i gave them away now so there are less fish in there

sure is alot of fish, how many gallons and how many fish do you have in it. what filter system are you running.

there is almost 3000 litres in it it has no uv only thing thats used is a pump
my filter is 8ft long 2ft wide 2ft deep plants are used to do all the filtering water is fed to the filter by 4 inch pipe and returned by 2 inch pipe

Hi Karl. Plants are used to do do all the filtering ? Not sure I understand

well what ever your doing you must be doing some thing right. seem a hell alot of fish for pond size and water gallons. well done

my filter is planted out with mint and iris the roots run all the way throught the filter colecting and feeding on the crap

here freddy that would of been alot cheaper to do then what we have just spent on filters lol
