Finally took some photo's of my Pond, 2 months old now and fingers crossed going well. A lot more into Koi keeping then I thought and yes I'm hooked, I eat, sleep and dream about koi....... Roll on part 2 yes I'm planning a larger pond at the back of this one, between 20000 - 30000ltrs depending on the budget.
This pond is 12500ltrs, 4" bottom drain & wall skimmer. 10000lph surface pump feeding 2 x 15000 UVC fish mate filters, venturi/waterfall return.
Stocked with 17 jap Koi & 4 Butterfly/Longfin Koi ( Sizes 6" - 18" ).
Should be starting the next project around April/May time depending on the weather. looking into fibreglass this time instead of liners, filtration should be sieves and bead filters with a added bakki tower but not fully decided yet.
