Reputation Level:  | My first pond I made this at the begging of the year just to see how it goes so far not to bad....i was thinking of making a new one but was wondering what is the best filter uv etc any help....current pond size 2500ltrs YouTube - my pond june 09

question: is there a preferance on box filter or pressure filter with built in uv..
or seperate uv and filter |

Reputation Level:  | when you hit a real koi pond you will find they all use filter then sep uv i have 3000 + gallons of water finding a way to make that travel every hour for top water qlty i have gone nexus 300 seq 15000 [i think] 55 watt tmc uv back to pond they are alot better at handling the stocking levels of a all koi pond |

Reputation Level:  | You would put the UV after the filter provided it was gravity fed.If it is pump fed, it will have to go before the filter.
