I intend to build a Koi Pond approximately 9000ltrs 4m x 2.5m x 1.3m in a
“D” shape, with a base that will slope towards the middle with a butyl liner, half above and half below ground, from my own research I believe an Easy Pod Air to be the best option for a filter. I intend to use an inline UV (not sure of the wattage i think abou 30 watt) and also use an Oase submersible pump (about 5000 litres/hr) with skimmer as opposed to a bottom drain. I have been told that I should be ok with a submersible pump (I have to work within a budget and a certain area of the garden).
Also I am unsure whether to fit lights, how would they affect the Koi?
Also I would like to fit a viewing window and what thickness of glass would I need and how do you seal it.

save your self time and hassle go for the bottom drain you will reget it later on
