Reputation Level:  | Re: Fibreglassed today Hi jonathan it is actually sprayed onto the wall it is very similar to the cans of expanding foam that the DIY stores sell and if you have everr used it you will know it sticks like s**t to a blanket lol

Once the fibreglass has gone off it is fully sealed. The only thing you have to do is hose down the walls and leave about 7inches of water at the bottom for 24 hours, then drain away.

This particular foam is not sprayed on, it comes in rectangular sheets and are resined to the walls

Next is to get the glass and seal it in place so as the pond is water tight. The finishing bricks are going to be done in the next two weeks and finish off plumbing and heat installation. The reason I chose green is because we have a komonyru that is mainly black and a dark chagoi. I am sure it will help to see them better as at the moment they are like stealth. I know it will still look dark but at least when the algae grows on the sides it will still show through as green, because I have noticed with black it still shows through as black with the algae on the walls.
