Well, we all build our ponds to the size of our pocket, not all can afford the luxury of fibreglass........but I agree its the best option if you can.

you are right and the next best thing is a box welded liner as you would agree
i feel that if you was going to build a pond then have the best but if your pocket can not go for it then i would wait till it can as you would only like to do it right the 1st time so and not throw good money down the drain when you get so many problems with liner ponds and then you would wish you fiberglassed it the 1st time .
this is only my thaught and do not wish to offend any one .

Yes, alot of people waste money and most of us after building a pond wish we had done this or that, I think I can speak for all of us..........

me too in the begining but we must learn from our mistakes and try to make sure that other koi keepers do so but some times you can not help some koi keepers

I would agree with that m8 hence why my pond is being extended!!!!!!!
Or maybee that is just an excuse!!!!!!!! lol
