Thanks for the thought, but I have spoken to them and told them that it's for a base on a Koi poind, so I'm happy it'll be good. It's a c35 mix with fibres.
C35 with mesh fibres is perfect

It is 3ft in the ground, into solid hard clay! which at least is a good base for the concrete. It should end up at about 1ft out of the ground.
I shall be laying 12 courses of blocks (flat-laid) so should be about 4ft deep. If the ground had been softer it may have gone deeper, but then it's more blocks and more money and as ever, like everyone else, I have my budget to work to!
