Default New pond Part 1

Hi to you all out there?

will try and put as much info as I can along with photo's to shown the progress of my new pond build!

Any suggestions are more than welcome/
The plan.........May be
Size:14 x 13 x 5 4800gallons
Sieve: Cetus
Filter: 24" Bead Filter
Pump: 0.5hp 3000ph hr
UV: 110watt
Viewing window
3kw Heater
extra fiter: Multi cyclone
Pond fitted with: Bottom drain, wide mouth skimmer,3/4 returns back to pond not all been used for now may add a bakki shower next summer.

First job was to dig out old pond which did look C**p had to be said sorry, wait till you see the photo's then loading onto a lorry!!! fun. Mini digger turning up this weekend so lot's of fun.
One more thing a big thank you to Mark (markF1fan)who is given me a lot of his time cheers mate

ps. when I have worked out how to make my files/photos smaller I'll get them on!

Hiya mate
well done for starting this thread on your new pond build, i am so looking forward to helping you all the way and maybe just learning more together as we build it. getting that old pond (tank) out last weekend did look like a plain in the beginning but it soon came out with 4 guys under it lol. roll on saturday when we can get the hole dug to the right size lol. dont forget to pick your bottom drain up and get some 4" pipe and 90 bends oh and some pipe weld glue when you get the drain. avenue have the glue lol. mark

new pictures of pond build. well had an interesting day digging pauls pond out. its measuring 14 x 13 x 3 foot so far. looking to get a size of 12 x 11 x 5 foot and hoping for around 4100 gallons.

you wouldnt recognise the site where we dug it mark

Have to say though the electric bills gone down massivley

lol mines going up week after week, now on £30 aweek. i think i must be paying for lighting the whole street up lol.
