I am not sure on your pumps its hard to tell until you do the correct test as it depends on so many things like head hight, length of run, bends etc etc.
One good thing is i don't think your electric is too bad you can swap if you like
here is how the pumps are piped up,not much pipe work at all and not much height at all. these are not the pumps running now in picture. but it does show the set up as it is.

Will have to wait till mark bring's his camera round and the forum does not like mine.
So I got carried away on ebay again!!! Lol
I picked up a bead filter for a good price it cost £2200 new from Japanes koi company in Henlow bedfordshire. Advantage 15 suitable for a 15000gallon pond and as mine is only 4300 should work quiet well I hope.
So if anybody would like to buy a Lacron 24" bead filter with blower and also a spare muity port valve I have one for sale please message me for more details. see link below for full spec Waterco Lacron 24" Bead Filter | The Japanese Koi Company
Been busy at work first time on the site for a few weeks your pond is coming on very nice Miles.
Jesus , your water should be gleaming . I just sold both my 24" larcon bead filters on eBay this week for good money . I had a guy who wanted one of mine but both got sold quick , if you pm me I ll give you his details
