Hi Jay,

Looking good mate, my first pond was built from sleepers and defiantly done the job for me, just a few things to think about:

Seating the sleepers on a concrete collar and tie them to this.
Using metal ties and sleeper bolts to secure them all together.
Bottom Drain, (as davej said).

had a good day today , dug the pond out to 4 feet except where i found a huge concrete slab so now have a shelf about 42 high down one end , and i piled the soil up to sit the eazy pod on .
tomorrow hoping to level the bottom with sand and finish drilling and fitting the rods/corner brackets .
then order polystyrene and liner for next holiday in feb

Hi, looking great so far. However I must agree with the others, It's not too late, I would put a bottom drain in. Last year I altered one of my ponds that had a liner, from pump fed to bottom drain, and must say it was the best thing that I had done.
Please do consider it.

Regards

Peter
