yes mate what i call back wash you call flush lol. just try leaving it maybe 2 weeks apart for abit. but then again freddy its getting near to winter now so if its not kicked in now its got no chance really soon till next year. all i would do is keep a water change 24/7 going slowly so your putting good water ine and keeping the ammonia and nitrite down.

Hiya Mark.

The problem is that it's difficult to know if it has or hasn't kicked in. My Ammonia is at just under 0.2 and Nitrite is at around 0.2. I've not really seen any big readings since I put the fish in. I think the highest my Nitrite has been was 0.5, maybe just a bit more. I added bacteria at the start, but whether or not it actually did anything, I don't know.
