thanks guys, well i have the paint coming tomo which i have brought the P2 super seal as advised by davej and some others on here. abit pricey but it will put my mind at rest being non toxic. so soon as we get a good dry evening i will start painting it all up. as for the top miles im going to be doing it like yours with the bamboo as i really like that affect. still to have the new sieve fitted and filter bay all built up so i can walk in. then its onto the garden which having a dog is to be decided on yet. maybe slab around the pond and then gravel or even decking but not to sure yet. want to also give the cream another coat of paint on the pond as it has got abit dirty but im hoping this will not happen when slabs are down and no mud around the pond lol.

whats peoples view on the end of the pergoda on the right hand side? would it look better if it had the angled bits put on the straight part so it blends in like the front and back. hope you understand what i mean.
