Ok Guys & Gals,
Here is a Sakura prize winner from Japan 2010 75bu.
I will not disclose the breeder or classification,I'll leave you to work it out.
I have included pictures of the same variety from the same breeder from 2006
& 2007.
What do you think is the parentage?

The parentage seems as though it may have been different for these koi as the first 2 seem to be very much a cross between Ochiba & Goshiki where as the third photo, the sakura, doesn't seem to have the goshiki indicatation but does seem to be metallic and would thus then be a Kogane Ochiba from my reckoning from ochiba / mukashi parents.
As for classification, if it is a kogane ochiba then it would be classed in Hikari Moyo
Chaos, you are pretty close, the parentage is the same for all 3 koi, pic1 & 2
are shown as nisai 2006/2007, part of the development process. There is no metallic element to any of the koi, Ochiba/Goshiki. Now what class and who might be the breeder?
You are right Chaos, Hosakai is the breeder of these Kawarigoi as yet no definitive name for the variety.I'll have to find something else to try your knowledge on.
