Reputation Level: | Hi Sandorien and welcome to a great forum , i would say it is a koi , because it looks like it has a slight silver colouring on the pelvic fins, and never came across this on a goldfish before. It,s quite hard to tell from the photo though.

Reputation Level: | Has it got barbels? If it's a Koi it should have four, they are little whiskers under its mouth.
It looks like a goldfish to me though.

Reputation Level: | Hi again Sanddorien , Must be hard to get a good picture ,especially if the fish is only 4 cm long. I would say though , if you can,t see any barbels its definately not a koi, it,s probaly a goldfish , as Deddog said you would see the barbels.

Reputation Level: | You definately have a koi then ,i thought it was earlier, looking at the pelvic fins in the pic. Like you said sandorien ,it,s probaly harder to see the barbels on a smaller koi, and won,t see them unless you sit there and have a closer look. Mystery fish solved .
