hello to all members, help,cheap filter any sort multi bay or clover 3 needed for my pond . its about 3500 gallon. i had made a diy one from 1000l ibc tanks but not working very good, wife wont let me spend spend loads of money for a filter. due to family and kids come first. i live in norfolk. its a very expensive hobby . but i have always wanted my very own koi pond , waited 20 years or so to do one . but struggling with the filter. always finding the spare cash. . thanks

hi steve , well i have got 2 ibc tanks standing next to each other with a 4" pipe work going into the bottom of the first tank into a 55 gallon drum as the vortex. and the tank is divided into 2 , the second chamber is with black night brushes, and in the bottom of the second chamber is another 4"outlet going to the other ibc tank .so being called the third chamber with lots of flocor and jap matting blocks . then running into the fourth chamber where there is another 55 gallon drum with 4 m x 1m jap matting and then the 2 return pumps back via a 60w uv threw a self made 4 stage trickle filter. and thats it. sounds very complicated i know. its been going now for about 6 months and water is still like pea soup , thats why i,d like to find someone near to me who might have a proper used filter for sale . instead of diy. kind regards Brian

what uv or uvc have you got on the pond ??? how big is the trickle tower ??
