cheers vince i will be sure to have a look, make a upgraded filter system proberly to big but at least it will do the job unlike some of these ones you buy for £££££ total gal of the system will be 165 gallons : : : : ;D ;D

I just bought some k1 from msaquatics on ebay cost me £75 for 150ltrs.
Going off the size of your filter 165 gallons you will need a lot more k1 than me, how big is the chamber that you are converting to k1?

was gonna have one static and one with air two 55 gal drums

55 gallons is about 250 ltrs it is recommended that you use 50% k1 so you will need 125 ltrs k1 per 55 gallons of water.There are instructions on how to convert to k1 at www.koicymru.co.uk on their projects page I found these quite useful.
