This was bought from A5 aquatics about 12 months ago as a gerden re-design meant getting rid of the vortex. Another re-design and the purchase of a nexus 200 means this is now available for sale
It has been connected to a Oase 5000 pump, but could handle twice that if using it to supply to your filter,as well as reducing the ammount of blanket weed and solid that build up on your brushes. You only need to remove the waste every couple of days in the summer, or every few weeks in the winter - depending on your stocking and blanket weed levels. It has helped keep the pond clear as they filter out particals over 300 microns it is also said that they trap not only paracites, but also their eggs too, as well as blanket weed.
These are currently retailing in A5 aquatics for £195. As this has no moving parts and is as good as new condition (The metal sieve is undamaged) Im looking for £135ono.
The cheapest on ebay is also £195...
