Hi Guys
I have a problem with my last little koi last night I noticed at the back of the eye between the eye and the gills it looks like he has knocked it I hope. But it don't look good. Don't really know what to do. but could be infection but water is good. but could of brought it with him as he has only be in the tank for 3 weeks. Any idea's guy's

It looks like it has had some mechanical damage but does look there is some infection setting in.

I'd be cleaning it up then topically treating with Mecuracrome. If there's infection in there I would be thinking it might need AB.

Then CT, salt and warmth.

Thanks Dave Temp up and going to treat tonight hope it will work as it's near the eye.

Yes bit too close to the eye.

Make sure you sedate it sufficiently to do the job without rushing.

Is there much infection in there?

Get some CT into the tank whatever, this shouldn't knock the filters but cut the food.

Hi Guys
I had a go today I think all went well After sedating the koi I cleaned the wound with Roccol then dry it then put on the Anti-bac let it dry then put on the powder then the top sealer but think it should be the other way round. it has dryed like a yellow scab but he's still eatting ok and looking ok apart from the yellow patch around the eye. was going to take some pictures but just wanted to get it done maybe next time.
