So thought my older koi a purachinni (sp) was looking under the weather Friday, watched them all over the weekend and on Monday when feeding saw him flick a good few times.
So made a phone call and got one of our local guys out. (turned out to be the wife)
To be really honest I was expecting Trich, but not so much white spot.
Yeah, confirmed and first treatment went in. Pond is at 12 degrees.
She was quite surprised I'd had no deaths poor fish had loads on him, but the second one we caught didn't have any.
I have strong fish.... and I watch their every move. Defo helped in knowing something was off.
Anyone know if MX5 affects the filter? As I'd like to feed them still and double the dose of Sansai which I sometimes put in to help.
Fingers crossed that we don't lose anyone.
