Hi ....after losing a lovely fish yesterday to what was a big lesion on his side which we were treating and it was healing, he started to get dropsy even though he has only a few scales on the top, they were raised and his eyes bulged. Started hanging at the surface and when we went to give him a salt bath he was swimming all over the place like mad. .Netted him but the other half said it was no good as his breathing was very laboured and slow and didnt think he would survive, in an hour he was gone . Our Big carp fish has a few lumps on his tail and wondered if this is going to lead to tail rot. We took another fish out to treat 2 weeks ago and some of his tail fell off .
