Just coming in on this, sorry for getting back to basics but far better to establish the facts.
The parasite problem - Guess it was flukes but was it Gill or Skin flukes?
I am not at all sure that Prazi (Fluke solve) stays active in the pond for 4 weeks? From what I can see a second treatment after 2 weeks is recommended for Gill Flukes; this would tend to suggest to me that the "active" period when it is effective is at least less than a fortnight!!
When did you add the Fluke solve? and what were the flukes?

Hi......has been in for 2 weeks as there were both flukes. Did a water change any way as there has been no flashing or jumping for quite a while and trying to keep the nitrite low.....jo
