Koi - bad patches on side.

Hi i have just noticed that one of my koi has 2 patches on its side that has only just appeared, also when i look at different angles i can kind of see that it looks a bit raised with a few scales raised.

Any Ideas on what it could be?

Hi Chris,

You will need to get this fish out and have a look at it and while doing it i would do a scrape to check for parasites. It looks like the beginning of an infection/ulcer which if left unchecked could become a problem so it would be a good idea to get it out ASAP.
