Yes Flubonel works a treat on flukes and make sure you mix it with acetone.

I have thought about telmin but read somewhere it is very harsh on the koi and can leave them open to a secondary parasite infestation ,the reason I asked the original question was because flubenol at 2.5 % is readily available for poultry whereas the 5% is pig wormer and I have sofar hit abrick wall in obtaining it and I wondered if anyone had any experience with the poultry wormer
regards Andy

Hi Andy,

It can be hard to get hold of some of these treatments to be able to use for Koi as they have not been tested on Koi and also the places where you have to get them from have tightened up on sales unfortunately.

Have you tried talking to your vet because as long as you can show them what you need and how to use them they can obtain the treatments for you.
