Jo,I believe you cant actually purchase Masoten anymore due to it being illegal to sell however there is a product called parazin p by waterlife that i have used that seemed to do the trick and its a one shot treatment too so no adding for days.
Masoten can be got but i cannot say how or where from as i wouldnt have a clue

Just got a guy contacted me with some Masoten , I have a holding net in my 5500 gallon pond with 16 small koi in as they would go down my bottom drain, will the small koi be in any danger if I treat my pond. Thanks for your prompt reply. Regards Joe

Hi

You say you scraped and found Argulus? Argulus are one of the few critters you can easily see on the fish without need for a scrape?

Masoten is not just banned for fish use, it is banned in the UK.

Lice solve may be another option.

Dave, the critter I found was not visible to the eye, it had a two pronged tail and it's mouth was doing a constant gnawing action , it wasn't tube like for a fluke, or kidney shaped like costia, my koi dealer advises it's lice but in there infancy, any ideas would be appreciated.

Darran, had a good look at mosquito larve( not a good idea before breakfast) can't seem to find my one, will treat pond with parazin p then do more scrapes to see if that kills them off. Regards Joe

Hi

It is needle in a hay stack without pics but would have thought you would be seeing some adults knocking around on the fish if Argulus was present.
