Reputation Level: | Hiya and welcome to the forum
your fish will need to settle down first, give it time as all new small fish can be like this. try and get your hands in the water and start feeding the other fish. in time it will come out and start feeding. mark

Reputation Level: | It's normal it will settle down in a few days just try and spend some time around the pond and it will soon come to notice you mean no harm and will be swimming around as happy as Larry.

Theres nothing to worry about mate as once it starts wanting food it'll soon dive in there for it this happens with larger koi too just spend as much time clearly in view but quietly so it will get used to you putting food in and then will only relate to your presence as a good thing
