Default dropsy?

Hi,

I've noticed this on one of our biggest fish, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it looks like the symtoms of dropsy?

The pictures are not very clear however if you look on one side of the fish (its the grey one) the scales are raised and the stomach seems very bloated making his body disproportioned.

Also, where the stomach is bloated the scales have turned a light browny colour instead of the grey elsewhere.

anyone have any ideas?!

Thank you!

From what I can see, there's distinct bloating of the body and the scales do look elevated, the classic "porcupine" symptom, also I detect some signs of "reddening" in the lower half of the body.
These I'd say all are indicative of dropsy.
I lost two very large fish with similar symptoms a couple of years ago.

The Koi's body looks more swollen on one side than the other where the scales are sticking out this could be a bacterial infection or a growth pushing the scales out and has become infected.I think you need to get someone to look at this Koi.
