Where's Beni Gone ??

NO I AM NOT REFERING TO CROSSROADS EITHER

I have noticed a decline in my sakuma kohaku's Beni (red) anyone got any ideas why ???

good question mate, i noticed today that my best kohaku's red is not as deep as it was last year. and believe me if its going and gets worse then i will not be a happy guy.

sorry mate , its failing beni !! it will get worse , until the fish ends up with hardly any , or until it turns to shiromuji , all white .

here's the horrible bit , if you dont have any attachment to the koi , out it , as its gona look worse the more the beni fails .

if you do have an attachemnt , then it dont matter , as it will live its life normaly , its just failing pigmentatoin .

ebay.... even whent to guy's house in essex and he's member of quite a big koi organisation (not wanting to say) legal stuff....but it only started to go once i put it in the QT ? before that in the temp pond it was looking great

its wierd how once i put it in the QT the beni has started to go

it hasnt changed in its eating or swimming habits at all just the beni
