mmmmmmmm ...............

right , theres defo a bacteria problem here , forget about the mouth for a min , the fin in the shot is to pink , but this looks all secondary .

as for the mouth , ive never in 15yrs seen cp in or around the mouth , not saying it doesn't happen , it's part of a fish just like the rest !! also ive never seen cp bleed either , it does look like carp pox , but its very severe , and there's plenty of something else going on here .

mmmmmm..... need to get a scrape done , and dip the fish in pp, to clear any parasites and bad bacteria ... though not really feasible , but i'd go blood test , as its like a blend of carp pox and hemorrhagic disorder , low grade internal bacterial problem , to be honest i'm at a loss as to the total problem !! i'd get a pro in as theres carp pox and several other things going on !!

Being that there is no treatment for Carp pox all that can be done is to boost the Koi's immune system so it will fight the virus. The bacterial problem can be helped at the same time. What I would do and have done in the past is to clean any infection without disturbing the pox in the usual way then place the Koi in my QT with as said above salt at 0.3 % then raise the temp to 24/26 DG,then I would do three treatments of CT at 2 grams per 100 UK gallons.I would carry on treating topically if needed, other than that I would leave the Koi's immune system to fight the virus and any remaining infection.
I would also do a scrape as the bacterial infection could be secondary and nothing to do with the carp pox but caused by parasitic problems.
