Default Understanding Ammonia

I found a link that covers understanding of ammonia and hope this can help peoples understanding a little more.
Home scroll down to ammonia on the left of the page

I'm a newbie like a few on here and found it to be good reading of the levels of ammonia at differant PH levels and tempratures.

oh yes !! this why i run bakkis , aint werth taking the risk , a point werth adding is , that a pond has its own unique ph cycle !!!! so a double test before sun up , and then at the brightest part of the day will tell you the swings !!

what might be ok in the morning could be deadly by night time !!!

Ill just keep aiming for paremeters as close to zero as possible, id imagine if you become layed back regarding water quality it would only lead to heart ache lol

now that was a awesome read and i learnt alot with it but now i am worrying even more with my own pond because my ammonia is still on 1.0 and can not get it to come down. with a ph of 8.2 and temp at 16 the safe amount is 0.45 i am doing water changes every day but can only do what the pond lets me take out as with running the sieve if you take water level down to low i cant run filter. any advise welcome.
