Normally it's1 gramm per gallon. I normally add in 2 half does over a couple of days.
Hope this helps.

Hi Steve

cooking salt should never be used in any pond due to the other chemicals they put in it (anti cacking agents)

Only ever use aquatic salt

Default Just saying hello (first post)

Howdy,

I've been lurking for a while and finally decided to sign up. I just wanted to say howdy to all on the board.

Lots of good information here. I hope I can contribute. Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I'm still a little new to this.

Hi Adi

This weekend I have purchased some green water remover, when I read the instructions it say to add to aerated water and that its ok to have a fountain going has this will help disperse the solution.

The question I have is, do I run my filters whilst I do this project or do I turn them off?

the instrution to use in air rich water is because alot of these green killing treatments zap all the oxygen out of the water so you need to replace it via air stones and pump. If you don't do this the koi will be starved of oxygen and die. Its always best to have a air pump going 24/7 in the summer as the water contains less O2 anyhow and if we get a thunder storm that also sucks the air up
