Default Simple BIO security

Hi all I don't know what the rest of you do to prevent cross contamination between pond, breeding tank, growing on tank or quarantine tank {presuming you have such facillities) but i take simple measures to hopefully prevent any disasters

1 I have a 90lt dustbin with clean water and VIRKON S in it I use as a net dip/disinfectant also to wash out bowls
2 A bottle of "Cuticura" anti bacterial hand gel which is alchohol based and claims to wipe out 99.9% of bacteria (available at Boots the Chemist and the likes round about £2.50 a go) I use it every time between ponds and tanks
3 When I purchase new fish I bowl them up in the water they came in and place the bowl in the tank they are going into to, this adjusts the temp
4 I net the fish from the bowl into the tank then discard the water from the bowl (helps prevent cross contamination)
5 I use TAP "aquabath" in the quarantine tank as this calms them down and basically disinfects them without harming the filter (can be used with salt as well)

I feel these simple measures are on the right road to a healthy pond
