Reputation Level: | Water Changes - dechlorinator Hi All,
Just checking, but when you add dechlorinator to the pond after performing a water change and say you added 200 gallons - is it just this 200 gallons that you treat with dechlorinator at say 10ml per 100 gallons - so in this case 20ml to be added ? Just had this sudden thought if its the entire pond volume that should be treated and not just the fresh water added.
Thanks
Paul. |

I am pretty sure you add dechlorinator for the whole pond volume so as it treat all of the water you have added as it mixes with old pond water. This way it makes sure it is safe.

Reputation Level: | Re: Water Changes - dechlorinator You could invest in a water purification filter set. Will set you back £200/300 pounds for a decent one but it will pay for itself in the long run. Talk to Extreme, he will recommend a decent set and I am sure do you a good price.
