have you tried malachite at all. can be used topicaly ie clean up area on koi and apply malachite or as long term bath
seeing you have a few koi with this prob i would go for long term bath. 2 treatments about 4 days apart.after second treatment wait about 4-5 days then i would salt at 1/2 per gallon with maybe some acriflavine which is a mild antisceptic.obviously using the stated dosage reccommended by manufactures of treatments.
Have you checked your koi for parasites at all are they flicking at all as i sure that cotton wool disease is classed as a secondary infection.if no parsites then check for organic waste ie crap in filters (Smelly gunge) uneaten food on pond bottom and clean pref before treating hope this helps cheers Richard. |
