Anyone any idea what this Koi has wrong with him. Apparently he's had it for years and I've been told its a pigment problem.
PS he's 24 inches long and feeds like the rest of the KOI.

if the kois had it years its possibly a tumour ,but it looks like a massive ulcer and you might be able to treat it.as koiman said get it scraped as it could spread to your others.
What is the best way to take a scrape? After I have the scrape how can I test to see what it is? Excuse my ignorance but never had any Koi with Ulcers or Tumours before.

injections work very well i had to inject 3 koi last year with ulcers caused by the flukes
i went to the vets and got three injections for each koi and they are now healed
nd it didnt cost much either much less than £30 for all three
