Because a Koi flashes or rubs itself doesnt always mean you have a problem, however, fungus spores are present in the enviroment and infections are usually secondary to other infections, trauma or stress.
You should clean up the infected area and remove as much of the fungus as possible then give the koi a malachite bath at 2mg/l for 30 minutes, once is normally enough, make sure you have air in the bath.
Good Luck! |

Fungus is usualy a secondary infection you need to find out what has caused it in the first place or you will be fighting a losing battle trying to treat them. If you have tested all water peramiters ok, I would take a scrape from one of your fish to see if you have a parasite problem.
Good luck
