You have some cracking fish there Moz i have just bowled all mine uo to check them all over and measure to see how much growth i got from last year will have to get some pic's up latter to show

Depends brooky on water quality, temperature, food type, fish strain, amount eaten, size of pond.etc. Etc You could have 5 fish from the same batch in five different ponds and you'll get 5 different results. I've caught carp whilst fishing one year at 4 or 5lb and around the same time a year later and that fish has put on 10 lb or more.
Some of it might be the luck of the draw m8.
