Its not that I am into Isreali Koi, they just happened to be the first koi I bought before I got hooked on the hobby. I have had them since 2005 and never had any probs. But as I have become more critical and found Richdon Koi I only use them for koi now. The only difference with me is I do not slag them off as I have never had any problems.
The Goshki actually looks better in the flesh than in pictures, it still has alot of potential to grow and hi to spread.

Two nice Koi there Jono, I have seen some real belter Goshiki from Hiroi. Yours will look very nice when it goes nice and black.
Getting on to Israeli Koi. If You have only ever had Isreali Koi in together, then You will only get problems like any other Koi keeper. Eg white spot, costia, flukes ect ect. The problems only arise when You start adding unvacinated Koi to Your system like Japanese or English Koi. In my understanding vacinated Koi are classed as carryers of the disease KHV. Its when Your water temperature drops and allows they disease to break out into the pond that any unvacinated Koi, will form the disease. Then unfortunatley its History for Your nice New Japanese Koi, that You have spent all Your hard earnt money on :'(. I think it is fast becomeing knowledge that You never mix Israeli Koi with any other.
