Kohaku

Here are my two new Kohaku additions. Both from different breeders on from Ogata the other from Otsuka. I am looking forward to watching them develope. The Koi from Otsuka is only 3 inches long so fingers crossed it grows on nicely I want to get it to around 6 to 7 inches by the end of the Summer. The other is 5 inches and I hope to get it to about 7 to 8 inches . What tips does any one have for good growth. I would love to here them.

nice fish thorny , pearl barley soaked overnight then boiled then add some honey for sweetness really high in protein.

but no salt lol ;D

Cheers Brett. I usualy keep the temperature up and feed Kusuri Supersilk. Last year all my young Koi all Tosai all gained at least 4 inches. I am just looking for some top tips nice one mate.

Had to check a few of My Koi today. It seems I have white spot. So I thought I would take the chance to grab a few pics. This is one of the above Kohaku. He has grown about two and a half inchs. The hi on His head Starts further back than it used to.

Thanks for that Mate. I do plan on throwing My hat into the show ring next year perhaps this will be a koi a take along.

Here is the other Kohaku. He is comeing along a treat. Growing fast and still keeping a good body shape.
