Thanks, I am pleased with them. They are currently in a 16ft by 5.5ft by 3ft deep pond. I am going to build a 21.5ft by 6ft by 5ft deep pond in May. They should all be even happier then. They are all Israeli Koi, I will not mix and always get them from the same dealer.

Totally agree. I had a major amonia problem last year and lost a fortune in Koi. Someone at the local Koi club said to me in conversation " If you can't afford to lose it, don't buy it". That stuck with me and when i found the dealer I use and saw the prices of Israeli Koi and quality i decided to go with it. I know all that is said about them having KHV, but was told the likelyhood of that was minimal and even more so if I only kept koi from the same region.

the breeders now have to do test ect so please someone correct me if i am wrong non should have khv it the people bringing the fish into the country in the back of tranny vans without paper work tickets ect ect we need to worrie about....
