hi peeps can you help tell me what this is (koi) i know for all you funnies.

its 5" at the moment and the breeder Oomo. bought for Â£15 from bow aquatics today. i was told it could be either a ginrin goshiki or ginrin ochiba and thats why i got it cheaper than normal ;D. any thoughts you koi mad peeps

I would say it looks more like a Goshiki than a Ochiba
Be interesting to see how it develops over the summer,,

i would say definately a gin rin goshiki ,its a good fish either way,but im sticking with goshiki :-\ ;D

i would say its a gin rin goshiki but who knows they will change which bow did you go to chap the closest one just or the one in the sticks [bow]

hi mark the one out bow and it was in the small vats with the sanke and was missed by all. not a good selection left but he will be getting more in march/april as the shippment arrives then so id wait till then and spend a few hours there looking at the koi without the air stone in as i do or we can meet up and go out if you like when the koi have arrived.

it is a GIN RIN - KIN OCHIBA and i hope you have soft water ?

why soft water darren . will it affect is colouration and can you tell me what testing equipment i need to measure kh

soft water as the koi will go very dark in hard water .
for kh use a electronic one .
