14" last year>Its only grown an inch but is twice as fat. It has been my 1St year at kloi keeping and with the new pond I didn,t feed too much as I was having loads of problems with new pond syndrom ect and lost quite a lot of fish due to my lack of knowledge. :'(
Koi can change like this for a number of reasons including your pond water conditions or because of the Kois bloodline, ie, its parents. An expensive Show Grade Koi could become worthless as much as a worthless Koi could become a champion.
Was you having problems with your pond when you introduced it ?
this goshiki will change again as it gets bigger ive no doubt its half the fun of keeping these marvelous fish..i think you will not be dissapointed in him..keep us all posted
