Default Programmable Timers

We have a F.O.K feeder that has no timer, we tried to source a plug in programmable timer that has increments in seconds , ie so every 3 or 4 hours the feeder will chuck out food for 20 seconds, the ones we have seen so far have minimum settings of 1min. so we ordered one from an online koi dealers (koifooddirect.co.uk) this including the postage was around £42 /£43 . i rang them up and they confirmed to me that it would indeed be programmable in seconds but it wasnt the japanese timer it was a more reliable english timer , so happy days .... or so i thought , i recieved the timer last week and to me it looked just like a £10 digital timer plug, left it on the side undecided wether or not it was worth the £40 odd we paid for it. bit the bullet today and opened it thinking if it does indeed do the timing increments in seconds then it was what i needed. opened it, it was in one of those blister packs that have the instructions inside so i had to open it to read up on it (no info could be found online about the product at all) only to find its minimum switching time is 1 minute. so now in effect i have spent £42 on a product i could of bought for a tenner at somewhere like maplins ! worse still i am back to square one without a timer for this feeder .
does anyone on here know where a programmable timer that does increments in seconds can be obtained from ?

Lisa rang koifooddirect and spoke to the manager there and he is going to give us a full refund (excluding p&p of course) so still out of pocket but only by a fiver , also been ringing around and found a hydroponics shop that has the one we need in stock at the same price.
had a look at both of those links Mark1fan and although they look good i think they are only wholesalers?

hopefully its all sorted now and the feeder will be operating by the middle of next week

Ash

Not sure what the voltage is to the feeder but the ultimate solution is to get yourself a plc, you can then not only run the feeder 5, 10 or 100 times a day at whatever intervals you like but turn off the skimmer at feeding times, turn on the lights, flush the RO (Dream on), switch off the top up when the pond is full and a whole host of other things.

And it will boil the kettle as well
